Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I know if my child needs a screener or a full evaluation?
A: During our free 20-minute consultation, we will review your child’s academic history and current challenges to determine the appropriate depth of assessment needed to find the "why" behind their struggles.
Q: Will I receive documentation for school accommodations?
A: Yes. A primary goal of my evaluations is to provide actionable data and diagnostic clarity that can be used to support your child’s access to an IEP or 504 plan.
Q: Where does the testing take place?
A: All in-person evaluations take place at my office in Menomonie, WI. While the actual day of testing will occur in person, both the initial consultation and the final exit meeting can be conducted either virtually or in person, depending on your preference.
Q: Do you serve families from outside of Wisconsin?
A: Yes. I am licensed to provide psychological evaluations within the state of Wisconsin, and I frequently serve families traveling from Minnesota and other regions. Because all testing must occur within my licensed jurisdiction, families are welcome to travel to my Menomonie office for the evaluation day.
Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: I do not bill insurance directly. However, I am happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. I also accept HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) funds as payment for evaluations.
