Brittany Hasenberg, M.S., LPCI believe feeling safe, accepted, respected, and understood creates the foundation for meaningful change. I strive to provide a comfortable and accepting space where you
can show up as yourself and explore what’s important to you. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Stout with my BS in Rehabilitation Services in 2019, with concentrations in Substance Abuse Counseling and Psychiatric Rehabilitation. I earned my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UW–Stout in2022, with concentrations in Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) and Crisis and Trauma Counseling. I have experience working with individuals and families of all ages and with a variety of concerns, including substance use, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My clinical approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), narrative, and psychodynamic frameworks, but I believe therapy should be flexible and fit individual needs rather than being one-size-fits-all. I view the therapy experience as a road trip: you’re in the driver’s seat, choosing the destination and the pace, while I help with navigation along the way. I work with clients to better understand themselves and the patterns in their lives, while also identifying practical steps and ways to unlearn deeply ingrained patterns that can make a difference in the here and now. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, and listening to live music. |
