Brianna Jakubiak, M.S., LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor Hi there! I graduated from UW-Stout with my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021. Since then, I have worked with a wide variety of individuals and concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life changes. I have primarily worked in community mental health, so I have seen it all and am dedicated to helping everyone receive the care they need.
I believe that the first step in therapy is to build trust and an authentic relationship, including a judgment-free space. I strive to use the techniques that each unique individual needs, though I primarily pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I also have training in Cognitive Processing Therapy to work through the impacts of past traumatic experiences. I want everyone to feel welcome and safe with me, including the LGBTQ+ population. Personally, I believe it is an honor to hear people's stories and a privilege to actually help them. Outside of being a therapist, I love to hike, take my dog (Winston) on walks, spend time with my family and friends, and crochet while listening to a good book or podcast. I look forward to connecting with you soon! |
